Well the week before thanksgiving we were supposed to have her surgery performed.   We brought her in, she was walking ok but obviously in pain.   She was taken into the back, we watch holding back tears, well mostly holding them back anyway.   We went home and waited for the call from the Vet.  The phone rang, the surgeon was on the line and he told me they had her out but found a bad skin rash when they shaved her.   He advised we put off the surgery for a few days.   Well the next week was Thanksgiving so this turned into a 13 day delay.   Watching a 130 lb dog limp for 13 days is very hard to do, but we got through it
